Vietsol was named the sole winner of the Pizza Pitching session at the Ecosystem Meetup held in Ho Chi Minh City on September 19, securing a place in the Top 20 of the Next Wave of Startups 2026 Accelerator Program.
The Ecosystem Meetup marked the opening of Next Wave of Startups 2026, bringing together representatives from government agencies, research institutes, universities, businesses, innovation support organizations, and the technology startup community.

During the event, the organizers introduced partners within the program’s support network, which connects startups and research teams with experts, technology resources, businesses, and potential sources of investment. The meetup also launched a series of incubation, networking, and startup development activities under Next Wave of Startups 2026.
The discussions focused on practical issues facing early-stage technology companies, including existing support mechanisms, access to technology and expertise from universities and research institutions, and the factors investors consider when evaluating startups.
Vietsol named sole winner of Pizza Pitching
One of the main activities at the Ecosystem Meetup was the Pizza Pitching session, featuring four startups. Each team presented its product, business model, and development direction to an audience of founders, experts, and investors.
Representing Vietsol, Mr. Le Quang Son, Chief Commercial Officer, focused his presentation on how Edge AI can move from a technical model into real-world deployment. The presentation covered the optimization of AI models to reduce hardware requirements, shorten processing time, and improve their ability to run directly on edge devices.

This approach allows data to be processed closer to where it is generated instead of relying entirely on centralized computing infrastructure. It is particularly relevant to computer vision and industrial applications, where response time, system integration, and on-device computing resources are important deployment considerations.
Following the pitching and evaluation session, the organizers announced Vietsol as the sole winner of Pizza Pitching. The result also secured the company a place in the Top 20 of the Next Wave of Startups 2026 Accelerator Program.
According to the organizers, Next Wave of Startups 2026 is a five-month accelerator program that will select 10 promising startups to work with more than 30 experts, mentors, and partners. The program is designed to support product development, commercial connections, and access to investment resources.
Continuing Vietsol’s focus on Edge AI
The Pizza Pitching result follows an earlier achievement by Vietsol in the Edge AI field. In 2024, the company won First Prize at the Future AI Startup Awards, held as part of the 18th Asia-Pacific Conference of German Business (APK 2024) in New Delhi, India.
At the 2024 program, Vietsol presented an AI development approach focused on optimizing processing at the edge, helping reduce dependence on bandwidth, storage, and centralized computing infrastructure in systems with distributed data.

Two years later, Edge AI remains one of the technology areas Vietsol is actively developing. The company is now preparing to launch an Edge AI Optimization product designed to help businesses deploy AI with lower hardware requirements, reduce dependence on cloud infrastructure, and process data faster directly on devices.
By entering the Top 20 of Next Wave of Startups 2026, Vietsol will continue working with the program’s network of experts, mentors, businesses, and investors, while gaining further opportunities to validate the product through the next stages of development.
