Job Descriptions:

  • Lead vehicle benchmarking and target setting, providing clear rationale and supporting data for all Vehicle Technical Specification (VTS) targets
  • Cascade vehicle-level targets down to system and component levels
  • Provide technical guidance to design engineers to optimize EV efficiency & driving range
  • Collaborate with engineering teams, suppliers, and program management to deliver balanced and efficient design solutions
  • Define EMDQ design validation plan
  • Develop EMDQ strategies, including torque split and regenerative braking strategies
  • Drive continuous innovation and improvement in processes, methods, and tools
  • Analyze simulation & test results; recommend improvements & assess cross-attribute impacts
  • Monitor and evaluate emerging energy efficiency technologies and industry trends
  • Document findings & present insights to cross-functional teams & engineering leadership
  • Support vehicle program milestones by providing attribute-related inputs at each development phase
  • Act as the primary point of contact for EMDQ attributes within the program team

Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in product development, with a strong focus on EV energy management and efficiency
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Proven ability to define, manage, and deliver system- and vehicle-level targets
  • Solid understanding of vehicle simulation tools (preferred)
  • Experience in vehicle testing, including instrumentation, data acquisition, and data processing (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of global emissions and efficiency standards (e.g., NEDC, WLTP, EPA)
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience interpreting customer quality data (e.g., J.D. Power)
  • Familiarity with premium automotive products, features, and customer expectations
  • Experience in competitor benchmarking (both physical vehicle evaluation and desk research)
  • Valid driving license
