Position: Automotive Test Engineer (Flashing)

Job Descriptions:

Execute ECU flashing tasks (update, downgrade, reflash) on bench or vehicle.
Read and interpret flashing-related requirements and OEM specifications to develop test cases.
Review flashing test cases from OEMs and suppliers.
Analyze flashing logs and assess issues related to ECU reprogramming.
Prepare detailed reports of flashing activities and outcomes.
Perform troubleshooting on vehicle and testing hardware related to flashing tasks.

Position Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
At least 1 years of experience in embedded systems or automotive software testing.
Basic understanding of UDS protocol and ISO-TP (ISO 14229, ISO 15765); specific knowledge about ECU flashing services is a plus.
Familiarity with CAN protocol and basic ECU communication concepts.
Exposure to or interest in using tools like Vector CANoe, VFlash is desirable (training can be provided).
General knowledge or coursework related to ECU reprogramming, bootloaders, and flashing sequences is an advantage.
Understanding of CAN/LIN communication and basic electrical/electronic network principles.
Willingness to learn tools such as NI Veristand, ETAS INCA, dSPACE, or similar.
Experience with test case writing or issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira, DOORS) is beneficial.
Good analytical and documentation skills; attention to detail in test execution and reporting.
English proficiency in reading and writing; speaking is a plus.
Reliable, detail-oriented, and motivated to grow in the automotive software field.
Eager to learn and contribute in a fast-paced, technical environment.
