Position: General Accountant

Job Descriptions:
1. General Accounting
- Process general journal entries such as tools and supplies, investment accounting, tax accounting, etc.
- Handle new asset acquisitions, transfers, disposals, depreciation, asset inventory counts, and management of asset procurement/disposal and tools & supplies.
- Process period-end adjusting entries and closing entries such as provisions, accrued expenses, payroll and payroll-related deductions, etc.
- Review and reconcile period-end balances.
- Prepare trial balance sheets.
- Record management adjusting entries such as administrative cost allocation entries.
2. Other Accounting Functions (Payables, Assets, Cash Book, etc.)
- Control and monitor revenue and accounts receivable; manage and process adjusting entries related to revenue and deductions.
- Monitor and manage expense items and control costs by project.
- Monitor and manage accounts payable, including processing reimbursements, advances, resolving related issues, and handling allocation, accrual, and period-end adjustment entries.
- Monitor and manage payroll disbursements and process personal income tax (PIT) for employees at the Parent Company.
- Control documentation, manage cash receipts and disbursements and bank deposits, and monitor cash balances, bank deposit balances, and cash equivalents.
- Monitor and manage fixed asset registers, tools and supplies.
3. Consolidation Accounting and Reporting
- Record, review, and reconcile intercompany transactions.
- Consolidate and submit financial statements and management reports (project performance reports and cost analysis reports) to the Company’s Board of Directors.
- Prepare statutory reports and reports required by state regulatory authorities and relevant stakeholders.
4. Tax Accounting
- Review, declare, and submit periodic tax returns, including:
- Business license tax (annual)
- Quarterly VAT returns
- Foreign contractor tax returns on a per-transaction basis
- Monthly personal income tax (PIT) withholding voucher listings
- At year-end, prepare and submit reports to the tax authority, including:
- Annual financial statements
- Corporate income tax (CIT) finalization
- Personal income tax (PIT) finalization
5. Accounting Software Management
- Evaluate and propose improvements to the current accounting software.
- Serve as the direct project manager for the accounting software implementation and coordinate with relevant departments on ERP software deployment.
6. Other Tasks Assigned by Superiors
- Participate in developing and refining processes, regulations, and training guidelines for departments and internal Finance & Accounting functions related to cash management, asset management, advances, and expense limit policies, etc.
- Provide input to project teams on matters related to advance/payment documentation and the advance/settlement process for projects.
- Fulfill reporting requirements and other tasks as assigned by the Company’s Board of Directors.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Auditing, or Finance.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in general accounting.
- Experience in preparing tax reports and financial statements.
- Candidates with prior experience at joint-stock companies or audited enterprises are preferred.
- Proficient in Excel and accounting software.
- Strong data analysis skills.
- Skilled in document control and tax risk review.
- Foreign Language Requirements:
- Ability to read and comprehend specialized accounting and financial documents in English.
- Able to communicate and handle basic work matters in English (emails, working with auditors/foreign partners).
- Careful, honest, and highly responsible in all work tasks.
- Ability to work independently and perform well under pressure.
