CFD Engineer

Job Descriptions:

• Perform CFD simulation activities to establish the Virtual Development Plan (VDVP).
• Develop complete 3D CFD models from scratch, including but not limited to: HVAC & cabin comfort, powertrain cooling, fans, refrigerant and air-cooling systems, air handling, and thermal management.
• Develop trade-off studies for thermal management solutions, including natural convection, forced convection, air & liquid cooling, and multiphase cooling.
• Perform simulations for all systems related to flow and thermal domains to meet VTS targets.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
• 5+ years in CFD at Engineer or Senior Engineer level; OEM automotive experience preferred.
• Proficient in 3D CFD modeling (including multiphase, transient, and steady-state simulations) using STAR-CCM+.
• Experience with component, system, and full-vehicle thermal & flow analysis.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret simulation/test/FEA data and recommend design improvements.
• Knowledge of thermal management systems and fluid/solid heat transfer (including radiation).
• Familiar with optimization tools (e.g., HEEDS) and scripting (Matlab, Python, etc.); CFD coding is a plus.
• Basic communication skills in English, especially for reading technical documentation.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Responsible, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
