Job Descriptions:

AI Application Development

• Lead the development of AI applications for manufacturing, including:
• Visual inspection systems
• Defect detection and classification
• Anomaly detection
• Process monitoring
• Predictive maintenance models
• AI-assisted manufacturing automation
• Translate manufacturing problems into AI-driven solutions.
• Define AI problem formulation, dataset requirements, and evaluation metrics.

AI Model Development

• Lead development and improvement of AI/ML models, including:
• Computer vision models
• Deep learning architectures
• Anomaly detection algorithms
• Time-series models for machine monitoring
• Improve model accuracy, robustness and reliability in industrial environments
• Develop models for tasks such as object detection, classification, segmentation and defect pattern recognition.

Manufacturing System Integration

• Lead integration of AI applications with manufacturing systems, including production lines, inspection stations and industrial control systems
• Work with industrial equipment such as industrial cameras, sensors, measurement systems,…
• Integrate AI outputs with production control systems to enable automated decision making and process optimization.

Industrial Automation Integration

• Collaborate with automation engineers to integrate AI systems into factory automation environments.
• Work with industrial automation technologies such as:
• PLC systems
• SCADA systems
• industrial robots
• MES systems
• Develop AI-driven automation workflows that enable automatic defect rejection, process adjustment and production monitoring.

Data Strategy & Dataset Development

• Lead dataset development including data collection strategy, annotation processes, data quality management and synthetic data generation
• Define dataset standards for industrial AI use cases.
• Establish processes for continuous model improvement through data feedback loops.

Product Development

• Drive development of AI-powered manufacturing products and solutions.
• Define product architecture and system requirements.
• Work with product teams to deliver scalable AI solutions, production-ready applications and industrial-grade systems.

Engineering Leadership

• Lead a team of: AI Engineers, Computer Vision Engineers, Data Engineers, Software Engineers and Automation Integration Engineers
• Establish development processes for: AI model lifecycle; industrial deployment workflows; validation and testing; and model improvement.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor/Master in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics or related fields.
• Strong experience in AI model development: Computer vision, Deep learning, Machine learning and Pattern recognition. Typical tasks include object detection, image segmentation, classification and anomaly detection.
• Experience with: PyTorch, TensorFlow, OpenCV
• Strong experience in: Python, C++, Software development for AI applications.
• Experience integrating AI systems into industrial production environments, such as manufacturing inspection systems, machine vision systems, automated production lines, industrial automation systems.
• Experience working with: PLC systems, industrial communication protocols, robotics or automation systems and manufacturing control systems.
• Experience leading AI engineering or computer vision teams
• Experience delivering AI solutions for industrial environments
• Experience managing cross-disciplinary engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in industrial computer vision systems
• Experience with AI-based quality inspection systems
• Experience with predictive maintenance, anomaly detection and time-series ML models
• Experience working with manufacturing industries such as electronics, automotive, machinery, textile, semiconductor.
