On October 16, 2025, at Vietsol’s office in Hanoi, Vietsol Co., Ltd. and SEVASA Inc. (South Korea) officially signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) to cooperate in smart energy infrastructure and e-mobility. This collaboration aims to combine SEVASA’s innovative charging technologies with Vietsol’s local market expertise and implementation capabilities, paving the way for scalable, market‑fit EV charging and energy management solutions in Vietnam.
Under the LOI, both parties will initiate a Proof of Concept (PoC) for SEVASA’s BECS‑based Variable Power Control Charging System, co-develop versions adapted to Vietnam’s market, and explore the possibility of forming a joint venture for local production. The LOI also sets the stage for potential involvement of V‑Green Energy Co., Ltd., aligning with national EV infrastructure efforts.
SEVASA: Company & Technology Overview
SEVASA Inc. is a Korean company operating in EV charging solutions, enabling EV charging in constrained environments through shared-use models and modular power management. Their BECS-based system supports dynamic load balancing, shared usage between EV/ICE vehicles, and adaptability to local infrastructure.
Recognized by GS Energy and IBK, SEVASA’s innovation lies in enabling Smart EV Charging across dense urban areas and commercial deployments.
Smart EV Charging Infrastructure in Vietnam
Vietnam is scaling EV adoption rapidly, with forecasts aiming at 1 million EVs by 2030. However, infrastructure remains a challenge: up to 350,000 public chargers may be needed by 2040. Current policies support green transport with tax exemptions and possible subsidies, yet electricity pricing, grid load capacity, and standardization remain pressing issues.
